I'm a high-maintenance girl.
For skin care, it must be high-end or else I will suffer from skin irritation. (And trust me - I already suffer enough from the environment.)
For feminine accessories, I stock up because you can't just go around wearing the same hair band with everything. YOU JUST CAN'T.
I'm sorry, but I think I can speak for all girls who have feminine tendencies. We just wouldn't be able to live otherwise.

Also, biologically being a girl is expensive already, assuming that she's already clothed.

Which means, I have to cut back on food.

Well, now that it's over, it'll be easier to save some money here and there.

How I save money:
Walking or biking instead of taking the bus.
Eating leftovers that no one else will.
Wearing out shoes until they're practically falling apart.
In addition to the above, having only one pair of shoes for daily wear.
No longer buying games.

But as I don't have any income of my own, it's really just my family's money that I'm saving (that they blow on over-priced restaurants, snacks, and diet food). -_-

Yeah, adeezy has a point there.
Of course, if I was the girlfriend, I wouldn't drain his pockets over skin care and hair care and hair accessories and whatnot.
THERE IS NO WAY I'm going to make a guy pay for my lingerie. That is just wrong.

Today I walked past the Hello Kitty store. It took every ounce of self-restraint to turn myself away and towards the parking lot.
I'd say it's an achievement of some high honor.

That reminds me, my HS crush had her boyfriend buy lingerie for her at Victoria's Secret with a group of friends present (myself included). That was a very awkward shopping trip, but I brushed it off by laughing at the whole thing.

She's already over my room, she should be satisfied. Besides, I really love hair bands! But my relatives seriously never take a hint and just buy me useless stuff, like candy - in a fancy box! They're just paying more for the packaging when they could've just gotten me a hair band for half the price, or even a third.

I have an old strategy. Two, in fact. One I won't mention.
The other one is I establish a necessary minimum.
Like, say, I need to have at least 300 bucks in my black wallet at all times. That is the amount I must keep in there for emergencies or necessities.
Then, there's another wallet that I can put my spending money in. Doesn't matter what the amount is. If it's down to change, then so be it. But my black wallet must never be touched.
My bank account is also considered holy - aka for college ONLY. Even if it were otherwise, I'd want the interest so I'd be adamant about not using it, not letting anyone borrow, because I'd want it at the side for my family.
Always, always have back-up.
