P.S. Those of you who still want to discuss our little tangent in the original thread, go to the Last One To Post Wins thread. That is all.

Your threads are always so prettyful and awesome. What exercise did you do today?30 sit-ups What are your fitness goals?I guess just lose overall weight and be able to walk up and down stairs without feeling lightheaded. What is your weight now & what is your ideal weight?125; ideal would be 110 What areas of your body do you want to tone?
legs, arms, lose stomach fat How many sit-ups can you do in one go, without break?
It used to be 40, now it's 30 ;_; How many of you have cut back on the junk food?
I'm one of them. Do you set up an award/punishment system for yourself?
No but that's a good idea. Got any tips to share?
Eat breakfast; don't diet because it'll slow down metabolism.

What exercise did you do today? Nothing yet... I'll do some sit-ups after I clear some room on my floor.
What are your fitness goals? Um...
What is your weight now & what is your ideal weight? 145 --> 135
What areas of your body do you want to tone? Gut and arms.
Hoy many sit-ups can you do in one go, without break? about 15.... >_>
How many of you have cut back on the junk food? Cut back on that back in December '06; I'll have the occasional bar of chocolate and even more rarely, some baked sweet.
Do you set up an award/punishment system for yourself? Nothing on my end, just the passive awards/punishments from good diet and exercise.
Got any tips to share? Cut the crap from your diet. If you eat/drink junk food regularly and stop, you'll lose about a pound a week from that alone. Eggs are a nice source of protein for energy in the morning if you want to exercise early; a crunchy fruit like an apple will also make it easier to wake up.

What exercise did you do today? 33 shotgun sit-ups. UGH. It was pretty tough - but no pain, no gain! 50 reps on each arm with 5 lb dumbbells. I was feeling lazy. A half-hour stroll. I was the only walking around without a family or group of friends flanking me, and it was in the general area of the S-Fest. They all slowed me down somewhat. I felt like I couldn't get out of the area; there were people everywhere XD. So I just went home.
What are your fitness goals? Re-cultivate my chi.
What is your weight now & what is your ideal weight? 109; 95
What areas of your body do you want to tone? Arms, thighs.
Hoy many sit-ups can you do in one go, without break? 150 regular sit-ups; apparently 33 shotgun sit-ups
How many of you have cut back on the junk food? I do grab a pack if I'm in a rush. But hey, increase metabolism! Gain muscle! It's not like there isn't a quick fix.
Do you set up an award/punishment system for yourself? Yeah. Like, I can't watch this episode until I've done my reps. Or, I can't buy this or that until I've done 100 push-ups. Definitely have to hit somewhere personal, but nothing near drastic. The point is to not be a slob.
Got any tips to share? Gain more muscle! More muscle = faster metabolism . Don't snack after dinner. Even if you're staying up late and feel hungry, you're being hoodwinked by your body. Don't cut back drastically, and don't skip breakfast. Remember there is no such thing as spot-training. You can't aim to lose flab at any specific area. You'll have to lose overall fat for that. Spot-toning, though, is feasible. Feeling the coma syndrome? That means you've ingested too many carbs and fats. I don't need to advise you guys against emotional eating. Don't use stress as an excuse to go Hometown Buffet. How about some workout music? Eat more fiber, more water-packed foods.

I've started a nightly exercise thing with a few friends. On the first night, we walked/jogged/sprinted/skipped about 4 miles. Last night, we walked over to the outdoor exercise area and worked out for about an hour. Since last night, I've started doing dumbbell reps; no count, just switching arms after about 10 minutes.

Work's been keeping me active. It's a somewhat niche store with an exuberant clientele. As it is retail, I stand my entire shift (aside from my lunch and 10-minute break) and walk/hop/run/dodge through the store and around guests making sure things are in order and helping guests locate particular items. Best exercise is restocking at the end of the night, when there're no guests in the way and we get to move so many boxes at once, sometimes moving shelves, mopping every night, and breaking down empty boxes to recycle. Aside from that, it's also great exercise in people skills during store hours.

If it's a typical school week for fall semester, I'm looking at at least 70 miles a week on my bike. I expect to gain weight in the next week or so because I did this splat thing the other day on my bike and everything hurts now. Yay. =_= This isn't going to go hand in hand with bereavement and anxiety. I'm going to have to talk to my pal Andrew for advice. I mean... mister abs of steel.
The healing process is going to feel so much faster if I don't look forward to biking again. I should find something else to occupy myself with in the meantime, in this state. Death Note <3
