do you know anything about this? they're in stark contrast of each other
here in the west, the ladies bake in the sun over there in the east, they use skin whitening cream or white powder
it's the funniest thing
of course, a lot of the asians here still whiten their skin - if they're not already white as the standard
other asian beauty standards (besides porcelain skin) : large eyes long eyelashes slender/curvy figure (with tall height being a plus) tall nose (but not like a snozz)
it's now common knowledge (at least among asians) that being mistaken for korean means that one looks cute, charming, or pretty by Asian beauty standards
so what is your knowledge of western and/or asian beauty standards? lets get it all clarified

Oh, goodness. I knew someone would bring up Jae Joong. That's not to say I have anything against Jae Joong, though. I think he's truly gorgeous in the eyes of many Asian females. That said, although miss jooojooobeee is fangirling again, I think she brings up a great point - not all Asians prefer the same thing - some girls prefer males leaning toward the masculine side(like me - haha), while others prefer those on the feminine/delicate side. While that's true, there ARE features or qualities that are universally favored across the Asian spectrum. Yes, white skin does happen to be one of them - as well as pronounced nose, big eyes, etc. Nothing bordering excess, though. No one likes bug eyes or transparent skin (the vein-magnifying complexion). And on the topic of Koreans - I was having a conversation about attractive Korean males with one of my classmates yesterday. He said that they all seem to look feminine. Just because they're good-looking, he said. What, so guys can't be pretty and still be handsome? Of course they can! Okay, so up there JaeJoong is an example of a feminine-faced Korean male without makeup. Here's an example of a masculine Korean male. That's a fake tattoo - but those are his real abs. I've seen them outside of photographs on certain health programs. That last picture brings me to another point. A strong jawline is definitely masculine in gals' eyes. I'm not even limiting it to Asian standards anymore.
