Hopefully, nobody out there is secretly a criminal, but just as a hypothetical exercise... Have you ever contemplated the scenario of becoming a criminal? Have you ever, just as an imaginary exercise that you would never carry out, planned the "perfect" bank robbery, jewel theft, or murder? How successful do you see yourself being if you did become a criminal?

While I don't know much about the world, I do know that officers in the specialized department (I use that loosely) are usually required to "think like a criminal" to solve a criminal case - usually the sophisticated ones, so to speak.
In terms of ability, chances are null unless granted I would be working with a team.
I haven't thought of committing any of the mentioned crimes, nor do I have sympathy for people who do commit them. Of the less grave crimes mentioned (relating to monetary matters), I would say you can always earn the money fair and square, through old-fashioned hard work. You'd have to be willing to fight.
But, seriously, if you mean just sitting down and planning something "for fun," then it would definitely extend to more than that, particularly with the said crimes. If it didn't happen to get down to that, then it would just be a passing fantasy and it would be difficult to conjure an answer to your question.
