♥ Let's Dance ♫
Okay I admit it. I can't get my mind off dancing. I mean yeah, I'm FAR from being at least a satisfactory dancer, but I can easily choreograph moves in my head without being able to carry them out. Why can't I? Well, because, frankly, my movements are too dainty and lack a virtual base of might. I also dissect choreographies to well-known Korean dance songs in my head.
Okay, okay.
eg. SHINee's new song 'Ring Ding Dong.' TOTALLY did NOT watch the MV when the song came out. I already had a dance number for it in my head. That chorus, to me, asked for a pelvic thrust - EUNHYUK style. It's when he's almost laying on the ground, one arm behind him supporting his weight, and lightly beating the air above him with his fist as he does moderate-speed pelvic thrusts. It matches perfectly with the chorus.
When I actually watched it, though, I saw that they did something Michael Jackson did in 'Beat It' MV. I won't go into details. SHINee boys made it look really classy in this totally Korean way, but i was so disappointed.
My reaction?

Yeah.
I fail at tutting. I fail to hone basics. I was always in too much of a rush.
My favorite dance? Sorry Sorry's choreography. Super Junior did a splendid job. I just wish they didn't have to work so hard. They're not idols in the mundane context; they are SLAVES to the KPOP industry. It is an injustice! (I mean who the HELL spends 26 hours filming nonstop for an MV of less than five minutes?! Why the HELL would a foreigner have to wear a mask to perform and be credited as UNKNOWN? And what the FERK is up with all those freak accidents??)
My favorite semi-sensual urban choreography would be that of 'Call Me' by TaeGoon.
It's definitely the first sensual dance I would actually call cute. It has this modest solicitor vibe to it. I can't put it into words, but TaeGoon oppa definitely pulled it off well.
Overall, my comfort level regarding dancing varies. My style is NOT modest. Far from it. I become very sensual when I dance to the beat of my heart. I find it easier to dance in skinny jeans than anything, maybe in gladiator heels or converse or vans. I can see if the moves need to be retouched if I see myself doing them with my S-line clearly defined LOL. Either that, or I wear fashionable pieces that show more skin than usual when I practice before a mirror. It's funny that my clubbing clothes are all worn at home, rofl. I just have a harder time admitting that I look more feminine than I'm comfortable with?
When I dance in public, though, my moves are limited because what comes to me in my head is not entirely appropriate.
But yes, my dancing inspirations are solely Korean.
So! Let's spazz about *switches to British accent* DAWN-SING!
