hi my question about bromance relates to korean guys and i guess in contrast to american white guys; why they seem to touch each other more? like you know what i mean about skinship and everything
and why do guys bond so much more? some of them would rather hang with the guys than their girl.

Homophobia is the one of the most significant underlying factors of American society that prevent said mannerisms among straight American males. But Korean guys don't let that particular fear hinder them from a healthy bromance. They've also grown up using intimate and respectful terms as 'hyung' and 'dongsaeng.' The closeness amongst certain boys is brotherly to the point of being tribal in the eyes of certain outsiders. It's not uncommon to see Korean guys hook arms, hold hands, or even peck each other on the cheek. It's also not uncommon for Korean guys to hang out with each other more than with girls. Keep in mind Korean culture is very conservative.
Examples of famous bromances in Korea include : Hangeng and Siwon ; Hangeng and Heechul There's also the pair of best friends from "Unstoppable High Kick" played by Kim Hye Sung and Kim Bum. They displayed homosexual tendencies at times to the audience although they're two straight guys.

It's how the person was raised... or how they weren't raised. The reason you don't see this so often in American society is because guys touching other guys is greatly frowned upon (homophobia, as LKFG mentioned). At younger ages, boys haven't learned the phobia and will touch other boys in the same way that they'll touch anybody else. As they grow up, they're told not to continue touching boys in the same way because "it doesn't look right" so touching another guy becomes taboo.
