Plot:
Li Huai(Julian Cheung) is an orphan with a smile on his face that never disappear. No one knows that he's born from a renown family. His grandpa is the one and only "Dagger lee", a famous master known in this past 100 years in the world.
Li Huai has been wandering for many years and during his time alone living by himself, Li Huai masters the invincible "Dagger Lee" kungfu Basing on a map in a little bag which is given by his deceased mother, who also recovers a treasure that makes the richest man in the world.
b/c of his undying goal and love, Li Huai returns to a village where he lived as a teenager to find his lover Fang Ke Ke(Dong Jie). Yet, all these bring him endless nightmares b/c Li Huai is suspected to be linked to the stolen gold in the royal palace, thus he becomes a wanted criminal who everyone wants to kill in the world.
Yet, things are unpredictable in this world. "Moon-god" Xue Cai Yue(Ruby Lin) who must capture and kill Li Huai under the royal palace's order falls in love for Li Huai. They overcome tremendous obstacles to build a cozy family together. But one morning after Li Huai wakes up, he finds out "Moon-god" leaves without a word but only a single note saying that they're no longer destined to be together, that they don't have the fate to be together anymore. It turns out that "moon-god" wants to challenge Li Huai's dad-----Li Man qing(Kou Zhen Hai); she wants to destroy the legend of "Dagger Lee" to avenge her dad. Yet, Li Huai has his grandpa Dagger lee's blood within him so he cannot let his family's reputation goes to shame!
Li Huai and moon-god finally face each other. The moonlight is so obscure like snow, so shiny like blood, at the brink of life and death, among baby's cry, Li Huai and moon-god unexpectedly think of that remote and beautiful place where they once have a home together...................
