If you're the type of person that goes for the more natural look, I guess you won't be too interested in my tuts because I'm all about sultry, bold, dark and dramatic makeup! I'd love for you guys to post up pictures if you actually ever do try out the tuts (: Comments, criticism, and requests always welcome.
All the eyeshadows I used in this look are from the 120 palette.
Autumn Eyes
1. Start out with a clean canvas. Be sure to prep your eyes with concealer to even out your skin tone--especially focusing on the lids and outer eye corner. Blend all the way up to your brow bone. (lol, this is a recycled picture from my Smokey Brown tutorial)
2. Like I said in my previous tut, I like to do my eyeliner & mascara before I start putting on my shadows. And, as you can see, no need to worry about making it look super perfect or anything...I used NYX black eyeliner pencil, and Covergirl LashBlast Mascara.
3. Use a white color stick as a base. Blend it up towards your brow bone. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk is ideal, but if you don't have it, you can use a white eyeliner. Trick I do: soften the eyeliner a little by hovering it over an open flame really quick (like 3 seconds). You don't want it to the point where it's melting and dripping off--just till it's soft enough so that it won't tug on your lids when you apply it.
4. I know this looks intense, don't be scared off! Take a matte bright yellow and put it all over your lid, going a little past your crease.
5. Matte brown in your outer corner. Make it in a ">" shape. And bring the color in a little towards the middle of your eye.
6. Blend! Windshield wiper motions until there are no harsh lines. Make sure you don't muddy the colors though!
7. For this step, I took a shimmery orange color and using a fluffy brush, I swept it into my crease and went just a little over it as well. This is just to brighten up that brown color a little bit...
8. Use a matte orange color and go over the shimmery orange from the step before to create even more depth.
9. Sorry, but I did several steps at once in this photo. I thought I took pictures...but I guess I didn't LOL? First thing I did was blend out that matte orange color! Second thing was I relined my eyes to define them using a liquid liner. Third thing: Using an angled brush, apply the matte yellow color on the bottom of your eye, from the outer corner of your eye to where your pupil begins. Then, apply the matte orange over the yellow--from the outer corner, but stop where your pupil ends. Last, take the matte brown and go over the outer corner of your eye in a ">" shape to redefine it and then apply it to the bottom outer corner as well.
10. Finished!
