if I clean them the dirt is gone
no more dirty things to suck out
if they bleed then I kiss them
they taste like nothing
if they have sugar stuck on them,
I lick them
my love for you is like a fingernail
sometimes I have to
clip it off
or I die
I love you like a fingernail
sometimes I polish my love
and it dries to a fragrant piece
of art ready to be admired

for sometimes there is dirt stuck
in it to clean
