another thing to note:
two-way mirrors/ one-way glass is usually set into the wall!!! if there is a gap between the wall and the mirror, then it is just a normal mirror. if the glass is set into the wall (like a window is) then it is more than likely a two-way mirror.
one more thing! one-way glass reverses in function depending on where the light is. The side of glass with more light is the one that both sides will see. For instance, if the room you are in is well lit and the other room is completely dark, there is no way you would see the dark side and vice-versa. If you put your face to the mirror and use your hands to block out the light on your side, there is a good chance you will be able to see through. A flashlight can also be used to illuminate the other side of the glass.
