Sure, you may know where you were born, but that doesn't mean you know about where you're from, right, Ling? 9) Assumptions are never a good idea. But I think it could be (but isn't necessarily) forgivable if the guy's just trying to be funny. 8) This could be a legitimate question if he's known you long enough and seen a pattern of you only dating guys of your own race. Maybe he just wants to know if your parents would allow it. (Some people have really strict parents) 7) It could slide if the follow-up is "because you're Asian."  6) You got a problem with someone liking sushi? A guy's not allowed to like something outside of his culture? XP 5) Ok, yeah. The guy's obsessing. 4) I thought a black belt was a big deal... Granted, he is bragging. 3) Possible term of endearment. There's some sort of Yunho marathon around here. [jk, I know where you're coming from. The guy looks like he's wearing tights even when he's wearing jeans, if you get my drift. It just makes me turn bright red and focus intensely on his face.] Seriously, though, it does irk me when people bring up that particular stereotype. Number 3 can get so damn exasperating.
