Crashed the twins' house on Saturday for their birthday bash. There was a pounding in my head - and everywhere else. Not due to some experience on Friday night the youngsters these days consider glorifying, but because of my sheer clumsiness.
Bash was okay... I tackled statements and elasticity during their Hide 'N' Seek. Then crashed in the living room with the kids, cake, and a bet that ended with my 'Hey Arnold!' DVD set going to the little guy. I did that on purpose.
Felt like sleeping over. Bulldozed through readings until midnight. Looked next to me and saw that the cousin had passed out. I went to sleep soon after and woke up spastically, on one occasion finding that his hand was over my face. We were pretty equal. He claimed I'd thrown a leg over his.
His little sis spied on us during her bathroom trips.
I was apparently a guest star in all three's dreams LOL

Whoa... long day. Marginal trade benefits, diminishing returns... six hour gap between classes... corked it briefly after I typed out my dream and flashback... then trademark laws... conversations with strangers (wanting so desperately to be left alone at school can be tiring when it isn't possible)... run-in with accounting bud in business law... long-ass three hour merchandising accounting.
I can see why accountants are in demand, and why there is definitely money to be made.
Delicate and crazy matters they deal with.
Yet at the same time, it's fun - mighty useful, too.
Not even midnight and I'm feelin' internal shaking... weak. Might be because I didn't get much sleep in the prior nights.
I thought depression wouldn't come hand in hand with insomnia anymore.
I also think that today's heightened anxiety/depressive modes are tiring me out. I've had consecutive days without sleep in high school where my vision turned green, but I had bursts of alertness.
Oh, well... since I can't get any sleep, I might as well read Harry Potter.
I like the twins' dynamic with Harry. So bracing and fiercely supportive. Pity the movies overlooked this.

Happy birthday, Sammy! XD Got into the epigenetics neuroendocrinology research lab. May have complicated literature search hw more than necessary. Still a lot of work (26 units, research, club activities, and a fundraising project in collaboration with an orphanage in Uganda), but procrastinating less  |

Made this weird gochujang-tomato sauce thing for the pasta I nearly overcooked. Punctured two tomatoes and squeezed the life out of them, then threw in minced garlic, black pepper, white onions, Korean gochujang... turned out pretty good. Might try making dumplings with this tomorrow. Maybe someday it won't take me years to cook one meal.
Anyone know where I can obtain organic alfredo sauce? That stuff's amazing!

Work, work, work! Since last Friday, I've only had one day off. I was supposed to be off on Thursday, but they called me in to cover a shift and I don't get another day off 'til Monday.
It's been fun, but it's catching up to me. @_@

Dreamed of Mom again this morning. She was sleeping with me, in my current room. Woke up spastically. Then I realized what an idiot I was being in believing she was still alive. This keeps happening.
Forgot it was Tuesday, so I went and barricaded myself in my little closet. Sat in the dark for a while without any intention to venture outdoors. By the time I realized I had an early lab to attend to, I had just enough time for hygiene and breakfast.
Felt more detached today. Kenny didn't seem real. Accounting peer said hi to me, but I couldn't make really sense who he was relative to everything else(?). I felt amusement by 2PM, a feeling which made me feel more earthbound - thanks to Kenny. But still, there was both heaviness and emptiness. Either I'm getting sick or it was trimming into my better senses.
Been dreaming of Mom more regularly now, and each time I have more difficulty wrapping my head around the fact that she's dead. I wake up hoping to find her, then the realization crashes down on me, and I find my body in shock. The impulse to never leave my house becomes something I have to shake each morning, and when I do venture out, I feel like I'm watching things from a distance.
Might have something to do with the semi-insomnia. I can't get any shut-eye until morning. When I do, I get the visions. Visions that are blurring their way into reality, it seems like.
Tonight I'll have to down the last two cough drops Andrew gave me last winter... I need to be out cold so that I may rise tomorrow.
Why is it that I've been feeling like someone's got a gun to my head... that constant dread...
I'm thankful my dad's been understanding... he doesn't bar me from embracing my moments of solitude, even if those moments become days and nearly a full week. I'm able to recharge. Keeping busy isn't as great as I'd thought. Sometimes the visions creep up on me while I'm slaving over something, and I cease my current tasks to wait for the rawness to come to pass.
I was under the impression that keeping busy would be my defense.
I should stop holding my breath. Otherwise I won't be well-equipped to receive surprises.

Didn't exactly sleep in the last two days... but finally finished everything last night... I could care less if the business law switches up the 700 pages on us last-minute... I need to to use this weekend to get started on something I've been meaning to do since summer.
