Better yet, got any suggestions for us? Yeah, what he said. And.... what the?! We have another staff member? Ling brings up a great point. we do need more suggestions to encourage currently active members. we've lost so many valuable spammers in the past...  Hmm... Suggestions, huh? I think the main page could use a little shuffle. Most people come and go mainly for our downloads, since we don't require membership to post or download; with that in mind, I think we should move the download links further down the list if not simply off the main page. That way, newcomers can look around before finding what they're looking for and taking off. You won't catch anything by leaving the bait outside of the trap.  Also, newcomers need some incentive to stick around. We should think of some reward system for hanging around and participating on the forums. The other forum that I go to uses a badge system where people get these little pictures under their avatars net to their posts. There're badges for submitting art, participating in contests, etc. In addition, we should probably create stickied threads for such contests in a new area of the forum or somewhere in the general discussion branch (which should probably be moved closer to the top of the main page). With any luck, the above will increase the number of posters, but along with them will come unruly members that we may need to remove from the forums. To regulate newcomers fairly, we should set up guidelines for membership in the form of a stickied thread that newly registered members will be directed to after they've signed in for the first time, so they'll be able to look over the rules before posting. But this last part should only be done once we get enough active people in the forum to warrant regulation. |

Maybe the title should be changed as well. We don't even discuss Asian entertainment anymore.
In fact, we never really did. It was meant to be a base and instead turned into picture spamming (which I'm perfectly fine with, but still!).
Maybe just a general discussion forum-ish title that doesn't somehow attract posters of explicitly themed content.
I'm not entirely sure what I'm saying.
