I finished this series today. Mom and I were down after they died. Freaking....for a moment there, I thought Bian Su Wen was afraid of death.... but I was wrong, as it turned out, obviously. Anyway, this series was completely worth it. I`m not an Edison Chen fan either, so seeing him die so early did not particularly come as a dagger for me, though I did miss his character later on. I liked Jie Qi and Ping Chang the most. Heroes. I love those of honor.
I felt a bit ripped off by the amount of time spent on the Qian Qian - Yi Zhen - Su Wen triangle. If there was anything worth hating about the plot, it was this. Completely pointless.
